By accident I watched this film when we did not have any choice inside the mall.

The movie is a science fiction and directed by Brothers Strause. The movie started when Jarrod and Elaine were asked to join Terry’s birthday party in Los Angeles. Terry was Jarrod’s childhood friend who lives in an upscale condominium. When the party ended, both Elaine and Jarrod stayed in the Terry’s place for the night. And then mysterious blue light fall from the sky. Jarrod was got up

to check the glaring light and he was hypnotized towards it. His veins almost surface in his skin as if the light was a massive force that extracts his human body. Terry stopped him. The following day, they were locked in the condominium because those blue light that fall from the sky are alien invaders. It kidnaps humans and gets his brain. The crux of the movie was the entire struggle between humans and aliens. The movie ended killing Jarrod but the alien who used ...

      • his brain showed compassion to Elaine.

The movie was awful and it only dishes out another special effects to cover up an unintelligent plot. The reason I did not like the movie is because of its unrelenting story. It was even like a game of showcasing too much of imagination and the writer did not know how to end it. I find totally out of proportion to see aliens scourge over your head to savor your brain. And that they will use them for their survival.

        It was just plain ridiculous.

Another thing, the movie was inconsistent even if the plot was bereft of good material. This was a major happening involving natural security but the movie did not showcase any government intervention except the last part where American Air Force were assaulting the alien ship. It left the viewers with the sole purpose of stamping thrill while the protagonist were chased by aliens. The writers obviously were anticipating that the plot is boring that a real thrill is important for entertainment.
