      Sleeping problems could really affect somebody, without proper sleep, we cannot get daily activities done. Perhaps we cannot be focused enough, and it is a risk in health. It is extremely important to get an efficient amount of sleep so that we live long and do not look too old too soon. A few times which I have learned to gain a good night’s sleep: 1.

      One thing which I have done and helped me in sleeping is to soak your foot in hot water. By hot, I do not mean boiling! Use a bowl which you could fit both feet in,


      fill it with hot water and slowly sink your feet in. It is extremely effective as you are helping the blood from your brain travelling to your feed.

      It is better to do this in winter as you may need something warm in the cold weather. 2. Make sure you do not drink tea, coffee or coke before going to bed.

      Caffeine is extremely bad for going to sleep, and it can keep your mind active. 3. Do not have a shower before you are going to bed.

        You are not too excited. If you are already in an excited state, then perhaps do something that would calm you down. If you are not in an excited state, make sure you do not do anything that may get you excited.

        Sometimes, things like certain movies could do that. 5. Do not watch any TV show that is continuos, because once you start, you would find it is very

        difficult to switch it off.

        Some of the biggest mistakes is to start watching something you’ve borrowed or taped, and find that it’s 3am and you do not want to go to bed because you want to know what happened next in the show. 6. Try not to have really strange sleeping patterns.

        Don’t oversleep during the day. A best sleeping pattern would be disturbed. 7.

        Worries, stress and anxiety does not help. If you are worried about something, try talking it out with someone. Make sure you do not have high stress/anxiety levels, or else it is impossible to go to sleep, at least it would take a while.
