I recently visited the Mall of America in Bloomington, Minnesota. It was a great experience, except for the fact that our northern neighbors, Canada, have one a bit bigger in Edmonton.

The Mall of America boasts many clothing stores such as the Gap, Old Navy, Tommy Bahama, and much more which makes their shopping pretty magnificent.

The food choices were also good; they didn’t only have a food court, but a few excellent eateries such

as the Kokomo cafe which serves up giant plates of island bliss (I recommend the Luau Feast for a family of four). Also the Rainforest Cafe is a great place for kids to see fish aquariums and a tropical theme.

I loved the attractions at the Mall of America as well. The NASCAR race center was the best! It’s as close as you can get to driving a real race car! You even get to ...

      • choose from a few real NASCAR tracks such as Daytona Speedway.

Another fun attraction is the Underwater Adventures Aquarium. This is another attraction kids will love. As they walk through they’ll feel as if they’re actually in the ocean. And, for the daredevil adults, you can actually swim with sharks!

Last but not least the Nickelodeon Universe Amusement Park that features a few kiddie rides, Dutchman’s Plank, a bungee climbing playset, a giant Ferris wheel,

the Pepsi Max, a high speed park tour that will make you jump with every twist and turn, and the whopper ride, the Rock Bottom Plunge, which sends you straight down before winding into a course of hoops, loops, twists, and turns.

I recommend the Mall of America, and particularly the amusement park, to families, teens, and adults looking to escape. This is quite a fun spot, and I am sure you will love it too!
