A zoo located in Brisbane North, it is a must visit Zoo for anybody touring Brisbane. This tropical zoo consists of many animals seen in Australia. There are feeding times, places to take photos at and much more.

Admission price is $26 for an adult ticket, and $17 for children from 3 to 14 years old, pensioners price is the same. There are however other tickets such as family passes for a good price.

Children below the age of 3 are free to enter. To get there, there are many ways.

      One

of the easiest is to catch the Caboolture train from either Roma Street, Central or Brunswick Street and head to Dakabin Station. There is then a bus which would take people to Alma Park Zoo.

If driving, the zoo is located in the corner of Alma Road and Old Gympie Road. Alma Park Zoo was the very first Zoo I had visited in Australia.

There were so much to see, and it was such an enjoyable experience. If you love seeing animals, feeding them, patting some of them, then Alma Park Zoo is ...

      • perfect for you.

There are areas which you could feed kangaroos, watch the Koalas and even take photos with them. I’ve always loved feeding the animals, which half the time they eat the paper bag as well!

There are areas which you could really be close to the animals.

I remember one area I could sit with the kangaroos and pat them. It was great seeing them hop everywhere, and the little babies in their pouches were so cute!

The only downside to Alma Park Zoo is that it is a relatively small

zoo, which means you cannot see the bigger animals such as elephants, giraffes, tigers and such.

Most animals in Alma Park Zoo are small, such as monkeys and koalas. During my visit, I really enjoyed Alma Park Zoo.

If you don’t mind going to a small zoo, then I suggest visit Alma Park Zoo. There are not that many activities that I could remember run by people there, if you want more activities, perhaps I suggest visiting a bigger Zoo.

Alma Park Zoo is perfect for people who wish to see animals and have a quiet day.
