Then there is the Queen Street Mall, the ideal place go to shopping in Brisbane City. Most shops are open 7 days a week. Just to name a few: K-Mart, Supre, HMV (DVDs and CDs), JB Hi-Fi (Electronics), Kodak Photo Centre, and so much more. There are so much to see and buy, that I recommend come with enough bags, or you may not be able to take it home.

One of the shops I love in Brisbane City is the Australian souvenir shop. There are many things to see there, such as the Aboriginal art.

These are beautiful artworks on wood and objects such as a boomerang or didgeridoo.

There are endless amounts of trains and buses which would take you to all places, and they are all located around the same area, which is near the mall. An extremely helpful place to visit is the Information Centre. They have advice and information for travellers, as well as endless amounts of brochures.

If you would like to see the other worthwhile places to visit in Brisbane, head to the Information Centre and ask for all the details. It also helps to ...

      • get a map there, as it is easy to get lost in the Queen Street Mall. The mall is designed for people and many exciting activities.

You would never see the Queen Street Mall empty. There are many performances at the upper or lower stage of the Queen Street Mall, quite a few times we have had some of the most outstanding singers perform there. It would always be a memorable place to visit.

The Myer Centre is one of the largest shopping buildings. There are at least six floors which have almost every shop you

could hope for. There are food courts at the bottom, and a movie theatre on top.

You could really find all the entertainment and shopping needs just in the one place. Brisbane City is really the ideal place to visit if you are going to Brisbane for a holiday. I have been living here for so many years, and I cannot say that I have gone to every part of the City.

There are always new and exciting things to explore. The people are very friendly, and the transport is easy. It is an experience not to be missed!
