The Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers is the second book in The Lord of the Rings Trilogy by J.R.R. Tolkien. The Fellowship has been split up, Aragorn, Legolas and Gimli are searching for Merry and Pippen, who have been taken by Saruman’s Uruk-Hai. Meanwhile, Frodo and Sam capture Gollum and have him lead them into Mordor.
This was a great book to read, while it’s not action packed with descriptive
battles the way that readers are used to, it still has action packed battle scenes, along with a lot of quite scenes.
Another interesting aspect of the story is the poetry, which was cut out of the movie for obvious reasons as it would make the movie a lot longer than it already was, but there are some interesting, quirky and fun poetry in the book and I liked it a lot.
