  • I do find it interesting that the main line of the track has essentially been adapted from a famous Julie Andrews track, but they use it very well here to the pint that when people next hear Julie Andrews sing her song, I do think that others will start to think of this JLS song
  • The vocals are class, I think its edgy and has all the ingredients it needs to succeed, which is probably why it did

Few bands have gone on to do anything after X-Factor but the four lads that call themselves JLS have done very well for themselves and their track, The Club is Alive, to me is what they are all about in away.

I do find it interesting that the main line of the track has essentially been adapted from a famous Julie Andrews track, but they use it very well here to the pint that when people next hear Julie Andrews sing her song, I do think that

others will start to think of this JLS song.

Some might think that is awful, but it shows what a popular song this was and how catchy it is.

Though I wanted these guys to do well I can’t ever really remember loving them too much on X-Factor, but you always fear that anyone coming out of this show will simply have to do ballads but this shows them in their real light for me

The fact that they are often seen out on the town in London shows ...

      • they are lads that like to have a good time, so there is no pint allowing them to do that and then simply singing about love.

This song is about a night out and all the women that are around them but trying to convince one in particular that despite all the attention, they are the one they want. More importantly though this is a very catchy and the sound and beat are both very good. This has bee designed for clubs and for people to really

        enjoy in their cars.

If they can get people enjoying it in clubs, even if they don’t realise JLS, then they will start to associate a great night with this track. The vocals are class, I think its edgy and has all the ingredients it needs to succeed, which is probably why it did.

They are a good band, but this song was important as it showed they can do more than people think and this is also the cool stuff that people really wanted to see them do.
