I was greatly disappointed in this movie because of the fact that the movie was not very close to the series that was shown on Nickelodeon. Yes, there were the main characters that were supposed to be there but the truth is that if you’ve never seen the cartoon series (which the movie is based off of) than you would not understand much about the movie. Being a

huge fan of the cartoon series I was annoyed when I saw the movie because it (the movie) was a failure in comparison.

be on was a major downfall to me liking the movie because it wasn’t what I expected or had seen from the original Avatar.

This honestly was just another failed attempt to make a cartoon series into something extremely cool, when in the end it is better just left as a cartoon. If they had stuck to the actual events and personality of the characters from the Avatar

series than I think the movie would have been a bit better, not a lot but a bit. Most of the characters had a funny edge to them in the cartoon but in the movie they were extremely serious, like Iroh and Aang.

In the end it is your own preference on what you want but I myself would rather chew off my own arm than watch that movie again.
