  • This was an interesting episode because it revealed more about the mysterious Claymores and how they are created and why they are all female
  • I enjoy the dub although Todd Haberkorn’s Raki might get on some viewers nerves, he’s still a good actor
  • I do think that you should definitely see the anime Claymore but you should definitely not let anyone under the age of 17 see it because it’s very heavy, with material that is definitely adult

Claymore Episode 2 has Raki and Clare searching for something that is not a Claymore and Raki is worried about Clare.

This was an interesting episode because it revealed more about the mysterious Claymores and how they are created and why they are all female. I thought it was very well done and it was quite interesting.

The animation is very well done and the fight scenes are terrific, although very graphic,

bloody and gory. This isn’t an anime for younger viewers; this is definitely for the adults due to the fact that it has strong language, nudity and graphic violence.

The English dub is also very good and the voice actors are pretty good with Stephanie Young as Clare and Todd Haberkorn as Raki. I enjoy the dub although Todd Haberkorn’s Raki might get on some viewers nerves, he’s still a good actor.

      I do ...

      • think that Claymore is an excellent anime and it’s very well done with excellent anime with an interesting fantasy story and is different type of story and it’s very dark and different.

I do think that you should definitely see the anime Claymore but you should definitely not let anyone under the age of 17 see it because it’s very heavy, with material that is definitely adult. It’s also a good anime if

you enjoy dark fantasy stories and interesting characters and action packed battle scenes, the music is also very well done and the story is very interesting and puts a new spin on many familiar settings and character types. The anime is definitely good, and worth your time. Just keep in mind that viewer discretion is advised.

Claymore is available on DVD from Funimation Entertainment. You can buy it from RightStuf.com and Amazon.com.
