Luck’s Pinto Beans are absolutely the only pinto beans our family will eat. The only exception to this rule is when we use dried beans. However, I rarely use dried beans any more simply because the Luck’s canned beans are really just as good. These pinto beans come in a standard 14 ounce can. The beans are seasoned with bacon and are preserved in a type of thickened bean syrup. When I prepare these

beans, I usually rinse them prior to preparation because this helps to lower the sodium content. I usually just boil them in water for a few minutes with a little bit of butter and salt. Cooked this way, Luck’s Pinto Beans seriously taste like you have made the beans from scratch.

You can find Luck’s Pinto Beans at most grocery stores. I have also been able to buy them at certain drugstores that carry foods ...

      • and canned items. The beans run about one dollar per can, though they may be less if you can catch them on sale. The beans are found in the canned food aisle in most grocery stores.

Considered a cooking and pantry staple in the southern region of the United States, Luck’s Pinto Beans are simply the best canned pinto bean you can buy. They are not too salty. The bacon gives them a great taste

too. I love to add them to chili, stews, soups, and even casseroles. However, we usually eat them by themselves as an easy side dish. The one negative about this brand of pinto beans is that they are rather expensive when compared to generic brands and even some name brand canned beans. But, once you try them, you will see that the price is totally worth the homemade taste they offer. I highly recommend Luck’s Pinto Beans!
