  • The box that I bought was a value pack box and it sold for six dollars
  • There's definitely a generous amount of chocolate that rests in between all the chewy oats
  • Sweet and chewy is a combination that I like and both are quite prevalent when it comes to this product
  • Thus, about the only drawback to these bars that I can see is how much they cost
  • The General Mills Fiber One Chewy Bars Oats and Chocolate can be enjoyed anytime of the day, really, but be sure to have a napkin handy when eating one because they're sticky and they can be messy

If a person is looking for an easy way to incorporate more fiber into his or her diet, then the General Mills Fiber One Chewy Bars Oats and Chocolate may be worth looking into. One daily serving and a person will take in a whopping thirty-five percent of his or her daily value of fiber. The box that I bought was a value pack box and it sold for six dollars. Ten thick bars came in the box. One has to open wide for one of these bars as they have several layers of oats piled on top of one another and are held together by gooey, sweet and rich chocolate.

      These bars

are almost sweet enough to remind me of a chocolate candy bar. There’s definitely a generous amount of chocolate that rests in between all the chewy oats. Speaking of chewy oats, these bars will give a person’s mouth a bit of a workout! They do indeed require quite a lot of chewing before a piece can be swallowed. Sweet and chewy is a combination that I like and both are quite prevalent when it comes to this product. These bars, in addition to tasting good, also do a decent job of knocking out one’s hunger that a person may feel growing within him or her in the afternoon. Thus, about the only ...

      • drawback to these bars that I can see is how much they cost. Six dollars is a lot of money to spend on fiber bars and I hardly ever seem to be able to catch them on sale or find a coupon for them. The price does bother me some and I wish that the product could be fifty or seventy-five cents cheaper.

The General Mills Fiber One Chewy Bars Oats and Chocolate can be enjoyed anytime of the day, really, but be sure to have a napkin handy when eating one because they’re sticky and they can be messy. The combination of oats and chocolate makes these fiber bars healthy to an

extent as well as flavorful. They’re a very good source of fiber, but they come at a somewhat high price. The number of bars that come in a box will last one person over a week unless that person really goes overboard and eats more than one serving at a time, but either way, buying a box roughly once as week or so will add up. I feel the value is a bit weak when it comes to these fiber bars, and that’s why I’m going to rate them an “8″. They’re tasty, chewy, big and help to fight off hunger with fiber, but the price is a bit too high for my liking.
