California Pizza Kitchen Crispy Thin Crust Signature Pepperoni Pizza normally sells for four dollars and ninety-eight cents at Walmart, although I was fortunate enough to get the pizza for three dollars and ninety-nine cents at Albertsons when it was on sale. At least, I thought that I was fortunate that I was able to get a frozen pizza that cheap. Before I even cooked the pizza I knew that I was going to be in for a disappointment because now
that the pizza was out of the box, I could see just how skimpy the company was on the pepperoni. For this being a pepperoni pizza, the amount of pepperoni that decorated the top of the pizza left me wondering where the rest was.
This was a twelve-inch pizza and I counted ten pieces of pepperoni all together. When I divided up the pizza into six pieces after baking it in the oven, I was lucky if a slice had two pieces of pepperoni. I guess the company can get away with calling this a pepperoni pizza since there is indeed pepperoni on the pizza, but the amount of pepperoni that came on this pizza was really very disappointing. The pepperoni itself came a bit crispy and the pieces were sliced quite thin, so that contributed to the crispiness of the pepperoni. The pepperoni certainly didn’t taste as good as the pepperoni that can be bought already sliced and packaged,
