  • His first attempt at seeking revenge is well done and this movie is excellent at making us think the man is killing out of anger with no training or experience

Kevin Bacon heads into new territory as a father in pain on the march for revenge. I thought that the film was close to the plot of the “Death Wish” films but was surprised that there were enough differences to make the film a decent movie. There is plenty of action, a strong story line, and Kevin bacon makes

up for what the film lacks in originality by his superb acting job.

revenge is well done and this movie is excellent at making us think the man is killing out of anger with no training or experience.

Things deteriorate and Bacon brings the wrath of a local gang down on his family, resulting in a bloody break-in causing Bacon to lose his wife. Once again, he goes on the hunt for revenge. The

result is a bloody and violent end to an emotional film. There is a decent shootout, and the scene on top of a parking garage was as well done as any I’ve ever seen.

This movie may be light on deeper plot, but for action and the emotion of losing a family member to violence, it would be hard to find a better film.
