Mama Cozzi’s Pizza Kitchen Chicken Rising Crust Spinach & Garlic Pizza is a twelve-inch frozen pizza that sells for three dollars and ninety-nine cents at ALDI Food Market stores. I haven’t come across this brand of pizza anywhere else, but other stores that specialize in off-brands nay carry the pizza too. For just under four dollars, this pizza is a very good value because it not only has a great flavor to it thanks to a generous amount of toppings, but it also has a fluffy and soft raised crust. One pizza divided up fairly evenly will produce six slices, so it may be enough for two or three people, depending on how hungry those people are.

the pizza on the box looks very appetizing and surprisingly, the final cooked product looks pretty close to what’s shown on the box. On top of the pizza, the pieces of all white meat chicken are easy to spot. The pieces of chicken were sizable and relatively plentiful. When cut up into six pieces, each piece had two or three pieces of chicken on them, so the makers of this pizza did a pretty good job of dividing up the chicken and spreading it across the surface of the pizza. The chicken was tender and tasty, too, so it definitely positively contributed to the overall flavor and quality of the pizza. The spinach was fairly plentiful as well and ...

      • although the flavor of the spinach seemed to be a little weak, I could still make it out and it was enjoyable. Every cut up slice of pizza had spinach on it, so everyone was able to enjoy spinach on their pizza. It was harder to make out the garlic, so I feel in that regard, this pizza could have been better. A richer, more dominant garlic flavor would’ve really made this pizza extremely flavorful, as would have a better tomato sauce, which seemed rather plain. The mozzarella cheese was cheesy and tasty, at least. The crust really did rise nicely, giving this pizza a thick, soft and fluffy crust and making the pizza itself thick due to the
dough rising rising upward during the baking process.

Mama Cozzi’s Pizza Kitchen Chicken Rising Crust Spinach & Garlic Pizza is a very good pizza that could be even better if the company would give this pizza a rich garlic flavor and added some herbs and seasonings to the tomato sauce. Even in it’s current state though, this pizza was worth the money. There was a generous amount of chicken and spinach and both toppings had a pleasant flavor and texture. The mozzarella cheese was, not surprisingly, rich in taste and there was a generous amount too. The crust was real good and I liked how high it rose. The pizza was quite satisfying overall and that’s why I’m rating it an “8″.
