I got a package of these pens not long ago. The pens looked professional enough, they were quite inexpensive, and I decided to buy them. Since then, I’ve used them from everywhere, including office desks and around the house.

This type of pen is quite handy, as its pocket clip is aluminum and very sturdy. They do not bend out of shape unless they are deliberately twisted around. The ink flow of the pen is even more solid than most normal ink pens, which is amazing because

this pen has an ultra-fine tip. The pen cap is heavy enough to counter balance the pen’s weight when in use, and is not easy to lose. Overall, this pen is very sturdy, has fine writing quality, and is quite handy.

Liquid ink pens have their problems. Fine-Point pens have their problems. This pen is both, and has many problems of its own. Below the grip and near the point, this pen has been known to leak small amounts of ink. Though most people never grip pens that ...

      • low, the ink sometimes smears on clothing if the pen is dropped. The leaking usually only occurs if the pen is old, or if the pen is dropped enough times.

One notable feature of this pen is the ink level indicator at the side of the pen. It is simply two strips of clear plastic which show the current ink level.

While this indicator is mostly accurate, it has its flaws. Since the indicator is located above the grip section of the pen, the indicator can be

completely empty of ink while the rest of the pen below the grip is still filled.

Not only can the indicator be misleading, it can also be hard to read. Bubbles often accumulate inside of the liquid ink tube, preventing you to be able to see inside through the indicator.

This pen writes very well and can last for a long time. Problems with the indicator may be unpleasant, but they do not really affect the writing performance of the pen. It’s great for office use, students, and anywhere there’s paper.
