  • With so many aspects of this painting, and the intricate details that the artist instilled in each sweep of her brush, I am sure that if I were to continue looking at this painting for hours I would still not be able to find every little detail hidden in the painting

Josephine Wall has mesmerized me yet again with this magical painting entitled “Heart and Soul”. There is nothing short of wonder and beauty behind this painting that is taken straight out of fairy tale dream. With so many aspects of this painting, and the intricate details that the artist instilled in each sweep of her brush, I am sure that if I were to continue looking at this painting for hours I would still not be able to find every little detail

      hidden in the painting.

This painting depicts a young girl who is staring amazedly up at the sky. On top of her head is a butterfly, and over her arm is a lions head. Down the length of the veil that seems to be coming down the back of her head from the butterfly are two tiny figures of a lion and a girl standing next to each other. The colors around the girls head are so warm and earthy. There are rich blues and earthy browns and reds and yellows. And the landscape around her is mystical and fairy like. There is a river and mountains, and flowers and clouds that seem to be rolling down into the valley. The girls herself looks as though she could be some magical fairy type creature who only comes out at night.

I absolutely love the colors and detail that Josephine Wall has added to her painting. There is so much time and emotion it seems that ...

      • Josephine Wall's
went into creating this painting. There is a sense of peace also when I look at this painting that I really like. Something about seeing this painting and the setting of the painting being at night when the world is still and sleeping is magical to me. I also the detail of the girl herself as well as the land around her. Some paintings are more detail in one area and not very much in another so that the focus of the
painting is only in one area. This painting is not like that, and there is detail all over the painting and I really like that. There is something to see in every corner of the painting.

Overall, this painting is so whimsical to look at that I don’t see how other wouldn’t be able to see the beauty and fantasy that lies in the canvas. To see this painting as well as other’s from Josephine Wall you can search for her on the internet.
