  • So I sought to buy a soap that would help with this problem as not only does my skin look scaly and grey when it is left unmoisturized it is also very itchy and feels very uncomfortable
  • I was a bit disappointed by this as I like my soaps to produce lather as it gives me a cleaner feeling, but if the soap did its job of moisturizing my skin, I won’t completely hate it
  • It was slightly unusual than using a regular soap because of the dry ingredients like leaves that this soap contained, but it was not a bad experience
  • The soap also finished on me really quickly or was simply unusable at some point, so for the price that I paid for this soap was not worth it as it did not last, and neither did I enjoy it
  • I would not recommend people use this either as it is kind of a waste of money

I suffer from dry skin year round, especially on my body. So I sought to buy a soap that would help with this problem as not only does my skin look scaly and grey when it is left unmoisturized it is also very itchy and feels very uncomfortable. I wanted to try a few Lush products due to their policy of using organic and environmentally safe ingredients in their works. When I walked into their store and asked for a product that would help me combat my dry skin in the shower itself, I was recommended to use this product for its moisturizing ability. So I went ahead and bought it. I don’t believe it was cheap as I got only a 100g of product around $7, but if

this product would help me with my problem, I wouldn’t really mind spending the money on it.

Like the name suggests, this soap has real figs and leaves in it. It is quite smooth to the touch. I have to say this soap does not lather very much as no matter how I tried to get a good lather by doing different combination of water and soap, this soap produced absolutely no lather. I was a bit disappointed by this as I like my soaps to produce lather as it gives me a cleaner feeling, but if the soap did its job of moisturizing my skin, I won’t completely hate it.

I used this soap like I would use any other soap. I simply rubbed it directly onto my skin all over ...

      • my body. It was slightly unusual than using a regular soap because of the dry ingredients like leaves that this soap contained, but it was not a bad experience. I wasn’t a big fan of the smell of this soap. It wasn’t perfumey, it was quite a natural scent, but I would not associate the scent to figs at all. It wasn’t very strong in the shower either and the scent did not linger after I was done showering.

I didn’t really like this soap in general. I don’t think it was moisturizing at all. While using this soap, I did not feel it made any difference to my skin. It was as if I used nothing. It did leave a lot of residue behind in my shower room which I

had to clean up later, so that did not enhance the experience. The soap also finished on me really quickly or was simply unusable at some point, so for the price that I paid for this soap was not worth it as it did not last, and neither did I enjoy it. The soap also dried out on me after a couple of uses, thus making it worthless and I had to throw it away.

Overall, I did not like this soap and would definitely not repurchase it. I believe there are better products out there that give much more product and more results than this one. I would not recommend people use this either as it is kind of a waste of money. If you liked this review, please vote.
