This is the third and final installment and novel on the Jessica-Clay-Nick Fox triangle and just when Nick Fox has enough evidence to throw Clay behind bars, he will have to testify against him, and that’s when he has no choice but to enter the witness protection program as Clay’s drug-addict thugs and friends will hunt him down forever, and Jessica is more than heartbroken when she learns of this. She tells Nick she will enter the program herself, but it would mean a lifetime of zero communication

with her family and friends, as they would start a new life together, only by their own and with no one else. Nick tells Jessica this cannot be done as the sacrifice could hurt her, but it breaks Jessica’s heart to pieces, making her decide which ones to choose – her family, her friends, or her life Nick Fox? This book shocked me and it’s just so sudden that Jessica is faced with this decision. It’s really hard and if it happened in real life it would shatter ...

      • my life to pieces.

On Elizabeth’s story, Tom still hasn’t told the truth about his secret past with Dana Upshaw, and although the secret is killing him inside, he still can’t muster up the courage and the bravery to just be a man and tell Liz himself. So Elizabeth confronts Dana Upshaw, and what she tells Liz is not unlike the lie that Tom has told her. She confronts Tom, and it’s a surprising ending for this couple!

This story becomes serious for Jessica and Nick, and it’s terribly heartbreaking

to read the passages on this book as you can just imagine if it happened to you in real life, and you can’t really decide what to do as this is a very life-changing and heartbreaking situation they’re into. However I was glad the Liz-Tom-Dana triangle has finally come to an end and all secrets will be revealed here. After this book it’s another story for all of them, and I’m glad to have read the series for this story, and I would rate this a 9 out of 10.
