Synopsis: One year after a Halloween prank led a young man to kill his sister’s girlfriend, they are attempting to start their lives over in a new town. Unfortunately for them, a man dressed as a pumpkin (the same costume her boyfriend was wearing) shows up at their Halloween party and begins slaughtering people.

Is it the ex-boyfriend coming back from the dead? Or, is it someone or something different.

/> What I liked about this movie: I thought the movie would be one of those films that would be very predictable.

However, even though I had my suspicions about who the killer was and, in the end, was actually correct, there were quite a few red herrings thrown up to make the mystery a bit tougher to crack.

Also, I have to say this is one of the scarier villains ...

      • I have seen in movies, ranking right up there with Michael Myers and Freddie Krueger.

What I didn’t like about the movie: The film had a lot of potential that simply was not lived up to.

A good reason for this is it tries to do too much.

I mentioned before that I was thrown off a couple times about who the bad guy was.

        But, that was only because

the movie really gets confusing at times to the point it’s hard to figure out what is going on.

For example, they have that creepy pumpkin carver guy.

But, he mutters a bunch of nonsense that really makes the film very difficult to follow and hard to figure out just how he fits in.

Final opinion: It’s an OK movie.

But, it is also a film that really isn’t going to rank up there with the Halloween classics.
