  • Recently I decided that one of the best ways of saving my money would be to bring lunch to school instead of buying lunch there
  • Therefore, I decided to go to the supermarket and get things to make sandwiches, and a tin of American Pride Bacon Grill Luncheon Loaf caught my eye
  • Although I like luncheon meat sandwiches with lots of lettuce and tomatoes, toasted bread and cream cheese, I hesitated to buy this brand because it looked a bit too expensive
  • Nevertheless, I still recommend the American Pride Bacon Grill Luncheon Loaf as a fairly okay brand of luncheon meat

Recently I decided that one of the best ways of saving my money would be to bring lunch to school instead of buying lunch there. Therefore, I decided to go to the supermarket and get things to make sandwiches, and a tin of “American Pride Bacon Grill Luncheon Loaf” caught my eye. Although I like luncheon meat sandwiches with lots of lettuce and tomatoes, toasted bread and cream cheese, I hesitated to buy this brand because it looked a bit too expensive. In fact,

the entire tin was over JA$200, which was the most expensive brand of luncheon meat on the shelf, but after some sontemplation I decided to spend the money and try it anyway.

The tin of “American Pride Bacon Grill Lunchean Loaf” was 340g, and when I looked on the front I realised that it was not only made of pork, but had some chicken included as well. When I made my sandwich just the way I like it, and tried it the very next Monday ...

      • for lunch, I was not very impressed with the taste of it. While the luncheon meat did not taste positively disgusting like one or two brands I have tasted in the past, I still could not help thinking that it tasted quite lacking.

One thing that I certainly appreciated about the “American Pride Bacon Grill Luncheon Loaf” though was that it did not contain a staggering amount of sodium unlike some brands I have tasted. The sodium level was very tolerable, although the meat

was not completely lacking in it.

One thing I did dislike about the “American Pride Bacon Grill Luncheon Loaf” though was that even though it seemed like it would last me two days for lunch, it could barely stretch for one, since I had to end up making sandwiches for my brother too, and when I fried the luncheon meat, it shrank in the pot.

Nevertheless, I still recommend the “American Pride Bacon Grill Luncheon Loaf” as a fairly okay brand of luncheon meat.
