  • However, one thing I noticed about her in the music video was that she seemed more carefree and impromptu rather than stiff and choreographed like most of the pop singers I knew at the time
  • These same qualities also came across in her style of singing, which I thought was very different from what I was used to hearing
  • This is because I have noticed that she seems a bit more controlled and mature both when it comes to her image and her music
  • I have not heard any songs from her very recently, but a few of my favourite songs from her are Turn off the Light , which is both the pop and reggae version, of the song, the reggae version being much less popular, and I also like the songs I'm Like a Bird , Promiscuous and Maneater
  • I recommend Nelly Furtado's songs to people who would like to hear popular music different original sounding from the usual

I first heard of the singer Nelly Furtado years ago when she had the world premiere of her song “I’m Like a Bird” on the Disney Channel. The first time I heard the song, I was not too taken with it even though I did not dislike it. However, one thing I noticed about her in the music video was that she seemed more carefree and impromptu rather than stiff and choreographed like most of the pop singers I knew at

the time. These same qualities also came across in her style of singing, which I thought was very different from what I was used to hearing.

These days, the singer Nelly Furtado th at I saw back then seems very different from the image of the one I see right now. This is because I have noticed that she seems a bit more controlled and mature both when it comes to her image and her music.

Another thing I used to ...

      • like about Nelly Furtado’s music was that it never ever seemed like I was just listening to one genre alone, but instead I could always hear a combination of various musical influences from several different genres.

One thing I do dislike about Nelly Furtado’s music though is that while I can still tolerate her music, her recent songs seem to resemble the hip hop genre a bit more, although I guess that she probably could have wanted to sing that originally when

she had just started out on Disney.

I have not heard any songs from her very recently, but a few of my favourite songs from her are “Turn off the Light”, which is both the pop and reggae version, of the song, the reggae version being much less popular, and I also like the songs “I’m Like a Bird”, “Promiscuous” and “Maneater”.

I recommend Nelly Furtado’s songs to people who would like to hear popular music different original sounding from the usual.
