  • One of the things I like about going around the supermarket at least once a week is that I get to chance upon new products that come out in the market if I don’t get to see any advertisement of these new products either on TV or in the paper
  • I was however, disappointed because there was more of the jelly than the yogurt and for some reason, I bought it with the expectation that there was equal proportion of jelly and yogurt
  • I think Nestle has done good with their Nestle Fruit Selection Yogurt but the Yogurt with Jelly line might need a bit of improvement in the jelly part

One of the things I like about going around the supermarket at least once a week is that I get to chance upon new products that come out in the market if I don’t get to see any advertisement of these new products either on TV or in the paper. One of the new finds I had is the Nestle Fruit Selection Yogurt with Jelly – Strawberry Flavor. I have always liked Nestle Fruit Selection Yogurt because

it had the right balance of sweetness and creamy yogurt without the strain on the pocket unlike other yogurt (local and imported) in the market.

The Nestle Fruit Selection Yogurt with Jelly – Strawberry Flavor was actually cheaper by Php5 than their regular yogurt cups (the yogurt cup costs Php25 while the yogurt + jelly cup costs Php20). Since I’m a fan of both yogurt and jelly, I had to try this out. Although the ads ...

      • don’t say anything outright about this product having equal proportion of yogurt and jelly, looking at the ads you’d assume that it was. When I opened my yogurt/jelly cup, I could smell the sweetness of the Strawberry. Although the jelly is a bit firmer than I’d like, it tasted really good. Not too sweet and not too bland. The strawberry yogurt was the same taste as their regular yogurt cup. I was however, disappointed
because there was more of the jelly than the yogurt and for some reason, I bought it with the expectation that there was equal proportion of jelly and yogurt.

I think Nestle has done good with their Nestle Fruit Selection Yogurt but the Yogurt with Jelly line might need a bit of improvement in the jelly part. As for me, I will stick to their yogurt; if I want jelly, I’ll go to the makers of jelly for that craving.
