  • This episode gets it's name from a reference to the movie strangers on a train where two strangers agree to kill someone for the other one so that the person close to them will have an alibi and not be a suspect, but in this case, instead of murder, two siblings agree to tell their sibling's partner something they wish they could say but can't because of hurt feelings
  • I thought this was a hilarious choice and was much funnier than showing him in a tight pair of shorts
  • I always enjoy this show, some episodes are funnier than others but none of them have been boring
  • I think this is one of the better episodes they have had in awhile, every story line was funny and well rounded

This review is of the American television show Modern Family, Season two episode 4, “strangers on a treadmill. ” This episode gets it’s name from a reference to the movie strangers on a train where two strangers agree to kill someone for the other one so that the person close to them will have an alibi and not be a suspect, but in this case, instead of murder, two siblings agree to tell their sibling’s partner something they wish they could say but can’t because of hurt feelings.

this episode Cameron begins wearing bike shorts.

The writers have done a really funny thing with this joke as we do not actually get a clear view of him ever in them.

We are told bike shorts are not for him by his boyfriend, but the whole genital area is blurred out everytime we see Cam on screen so we have to guess it is because they are super tight there.

I thought this was a hilarious choice and was much funnier than showing him in a ...

      • tight pair of shorts.

Also in this episode Gloria and Jay are invited to a 15th birthday party of the daughter of one of his employees and Gloria is upset that Jay does not know his employees well so she insists they go, but as always happens on this show and why it remains funny is nothing works out how it is meant to.

They show up at the party and Jay of course does not know anyone so he sends Manny to introduce him to people

and Manny lies to him about people’s names.

Pretty soon into the party we learn they are at an engagement party but Gloria decides not to tell Jay and lets him embarass himself when he thinks a father and daughter are making out but it is really an engaged couple.

I always enjoy this show, some episodes are funnier than others but none of them have been boring.

I think this is one of the better episodes they have had in awhile, every story line was funny and well rounded.
