Bremer Steamers Brown Rice is a pretty decent product that makes reasonably tasty ans satisfying rice. It’s pretty easy to make too, which is nice because when I’m fixing a meal to have for dinner, I just have to stock this bag in the microwave and let it cook. I could also cook the rice on the stove, but the microwave is easier and quicker. One downside to using the microwave though is I have to cook all ten ounces of rice at once which is too much for me to eat and I have to put the rest in the refrigerator whereas if I cooked

the rice on the stove, I could just open the bag, dump in the rice I want, and save the rest. Using the stove would allow me to make fresh rice each time, as opposed to fresh rice once in the microwave and then leftover rice which I would need to heat up another night. Fresh rice as opposed to re-heated, leftover rice obviously tastes a little better.

That being said, this is good rice that can be found in the frozen food section at ALDI Food Market stores. This brown rice has a pretty pleasant nutty-like flavor and the brown rice itself is pleasantly chewy. The ...

      • brown rice isn’t too hard, but it’s also not too mushy either, so that’s two good things right there. The brown rice makes for nice side dish to meals that consist of meat or chicken, especially, and while a rice side dish isn’t as filling as a pasta side dish, it’s still nice to have now and then. I like to eat brown rice because it’s generally more nutritious than white rice and also because it’s chewier than white rice, and I like that quality too. One frozen bag costs just ninety-nine cents and that’s more than a decent price. For that price, I can enjoy
two tasty side dishes of rice on two different evenings for about fifty cents a side dish. That’s a great value in my view.

I don’t eat rice as often as I should and I generally opt for a more flavorful and filling, but also less healthy, pasta side dish to go with my dinner meals. This brown rice is both healthy and tasty and sells at a very attractive price, so I really don’t have any reason not to incorporate it into more meals. The quality, value and flavor are all very exceptional and the rice is quite easy to prepare, so I’m going to rate it a “10″.
