Synopsis: In this Season 1 Episode, Al and Steve end up purchasing a classic Ford Mustang and work together to re-build it. While they do this, their wives, who are pretty much car widows, sulk because all their time and effort are going into the new automobile.

What I liked about this episode: This is one of those episodes that could go either way.

Either it can become very predictable; for example, they

could find they can’t afford to restore it or they end up arguing over who actually owns it.

Or, it can take the plot, make it a bit different than other shows and keep things interesting.

      This one did the latter.

On one hand, you just know something is going to end up happening to the car because this isn’t a show that has a lot of happy endings.

      But, they keep it ...

      • a complete secret (they discover the car is stolen at the very end) until the episode is just about over.

What I didn’t like about the episode: I wasn’t a huge fan of the ending.

Like I said, the twist involving the car was saved until the very end.

But, it just pretty much ends; there isn’t a whole lot of detail about how they ended up being pulled over in the first

Also, I don’t know if a stolen car ending is really all that unique when you think about it.

Final opinion: This ended up being an OK episode with a few laughs.

But, compared to some others I have watched recently, it did fall a bit short of expectations.

I wouldn’t say it was one of the worst episodes I’ve watched but I would only rank it somewhere in the middle when grading it on a scale.
