  • These Millionaires Belgian Chocolate & Caramel Tarts are the most gorgeous Belgian chocolate and caramel tarts known to humanity, in my opinion
  • I thought they were delicious in every way and I have to admit that I have eaten both the tarts in the packet this evening
  • I have tried Sainsbury’s Millionaires chocolate tarts and they were amazing, but these Tesco Finest ones I think are just slightly better, which is saying a lot
  • What I particularly noticed was how fresh the chocolate ganache tasted
  • I do not think that you could buy better chocolate and caramel tarts than these, so I would definitely recommend them and they are sophisticated enough to serve if you are having someone over for dinner too

These Millionaires Belgian Chocolate & Caramel Tarts are the most gorgeous Belgian chocolate and caramel tarts known to humanity, in my opinion. I thought they were delicious in every way and I have to admit that I have eaten both the tarts in the packet this evening. I have just looked at the calorific content on the box and, just in these tarts alone, I have today consumed an enormous 1000 calories. But I do not care, although I had better cut back a

bit tomorrow! When I got back from the supermarket with my shopping I stuck the tarts in the fridge but forgot to take them out to thaw a bit before I ate them, but they still tasted delicious and the lovely filling of chocolate and caramel was so soft that, even straight from the fridge, it remained really soft and tasted really good.

I have tried Sainsbury’s Millionaires chocolate tarts and they were amazing, but these Tesco Finest ones I think are just slightly better,

      • which is saying a lot. The pastry crust tasted really good but the soft crust filling of chocolate ganache (which is like a soft, chocolate fudge-like substance) and the layer of soft caramel underneath that was just heavenly and very melt-in-the-mouth. The tarts also have white and milk chocolate shavings on top, Belgian chocolate that is, which is always extra nice chocolate. What I particularly noticed was how fresh the chocolate ganache tasted. I do not exactly know what ganache is but although
it had a rich, brown chocolate colour it tasted rather fresh and milky too and I found it delicious.

These are suitable for vegetarians but if you want the full list of ingredients then I suggest you have a look at them in Tesco in the chilled section of pastries. I do not think that you could buy better chocolate and caramel tarts than these, so I would definitely recommend them and they are sophisticated enough to serve if you are having someone over for dinner too.
