Dr. K. Viswanath is a famous Director of Telugu(one of the Indian official languages)films.

He is one of the best directors . I have seen almost all films directed by Dr.

      K. Viswanath.

His films always reveals something useful for the society. He always tries to explain moral values and culture through his films.

In his film ‘Swathimutyam’(Symbol of purity

), an innocent who lost his parents in his childhood, marries a widow ( a mother of a child too) and gives her a better life, fighting against the society. This movie has been India’s offcial entry to Oscars in 1986.

Similarly in film ‘SwayamKrishi’(dignity of labour or hardwork) , an illeterate poor cobbler becomes a rich owner of a big shoe mart just because of his attitude towards work . In his another film ‘Apthbaandhavudu’,(resuer) an obedient servant gives a new life to his owner’s daughter , when she was sent to mental hospital due to unexpected circumstances.

The servant intentionally become mad and joins in ...

the hospital, where his owner’s daughter joined and struggles a lot to make her normal. His films are classic art oriented too.

His “Sirisirimuvva’,'Sankarabharanam’,'Sagarasangamam’ , ’swarnakamalam’ ,’swathikiranam’,etc are real gems sprinkled out from the hands of Dr. K.

Viswanath. In his film ‘Swarnakamalam’, an ordinary painter who paint on hoardings, invokes the internal talent of a classical

dancer, who neglects dancing because of her interest towards official jobs and finally the girl realizes the importance of classical dance and involves in it whole heartedly.

Each and every film that comes from Sri K. Viswanath has its own recognization and dignity.

That is why Indian Government honoured him with prestigious “Padmasri” award for his contribution towards Indian films.
