Hair Battle Spectacular: Bright Lights, Big City was the latest episode of this fantasy hairdo reality competition. For the Check Up from the Neck Up event, the stylists are challenged to make a fantasy hair hat design that is inspired by the outfit the models are wearing.

There are just four stylists left, Tsunami, Minista, Fingaz, and Sexy Lexi. Yes, these people do not have normal names. Well, I’m sure they have them but they seem to prefer these odd pseudo names instead. That

said, while I was skeptical at first, I have learned that they do have a talent. I’m still not sure where you’d see these odd hairdos at. Maybe photo shoots or horror movies? I just don’t know.

Regardless, Tsunami won the opening challenge so that means he gets an advantage during the preparation for the Glam Slam. He gets to take one hour away from one of the other stylists and add it to his own time. Of note, though, Sexy Lexi again ...

      • was caught with her fingers still working after time was up. She really stretches the fairness factor. I don’t believe that she belongs in the final four.

The Glam Slam challenge had to include a futuristic invention of their making and had to light up in some way. Hence, the Bright Lights part of the episode title. When it came time for Tsunami to play the stick up card, his advantage, he decided to give it to Minista, mostly because Fingaz is just an

annoying person. Of course, then Minista let her inner two year old come out, showing her own immaturity.

Tsunami and Fingaz were hair dos, with Tsunami winning, which I liked, and that left Minista and Sexy Lexi as the hair donts, which seemed very fitting considering one tends to cheat and the other proved herself to be a spoilsport. Either of them would have been fine to go home. I won’t spoil it by revealing here who went home, just in case you haven’t seen it yet.
