  • Instead, I found myself laughing through nearly every scene and have watched the film on numerous occasions
  • It's definitely not one that should be viewed around small children, as it contains sexual situations, course language, violence, drug use, and nudity
  • However for those in their late teens and the older crowd, I think that watching Harold and Kumar Go to White Castle is a fun and entertaining way to spend a late Friday night

In what could be considered by parents a nightmare of a movie, Harold and Kumar Go to White Castle has been, and continues to be one of the most popular comedy movies amongst teens and 20 somethings.

In this film, roommates Harold struggles daily for just one lucky break when it comes to anything in life while he watches his roommate, the oh so relaxed Kumar, waste away his intelligence by blowing through college and major employment opportunities. After smoking weed one night, the

two decide to take Harold’s car and journey to White Castle to cure their munchies. The pair end up lost along the way and end up on an adventure that includes scary looking rednecks, racist cops, and an extremely high Neil Patrick Harris. The entire movie focuses on Harold discovering his inner strength and the ultimate question of how far the two are willing to go to get their White Castle fix.

When I first heard about this movie, I really wasn’t sure ...

      • what to think. Stoner comedies simply didn’t appeal to me. Instead, I found myself laughing through nearly every scene and have watched the film on numerous occasions. It’s hard to describe any one particular aspect or scene in the movie as being my favorite because they were all as equally entertaining. I really laughed when Neil Patrick Harris, who was appearing as himself in the film, stole Harold’s car. The jail scene was also extremely amusing, although some may
be annoyed by some of the content during that particular part of the film.

It’s definitely not one that should be viewed around small children, as it contains sexual situations, course language, violence, drug use, and nudity. Those who are easily offended should scratch this one off of their lists. However for those in their late teens and the older crowd, I think that watching Harold and Kumar Go to White Castle is a fun and entertaining way to spend a late Friday night.
