There are times that I just can’t stay awake and I need to use something to help me. I had heard a lot of good things about Vivarin helping others stay awake, so I thought I would give it a try. I found Vivarin at my grocery store while I was shopping. I paid $5.99 for 16 tablets of Vivarin. That sounded like a reasonable price as long as it worked as everyone said it did. I wasn’t altogether convinced that it would work though. I am skeptical

when it comes to medications such as these.

When I felt myself begin to lag, I took one of the Vivarin, according to the directions. I waited for a while and didn’t see any significant change in my tiredness. I still felt as though I could take a nap. I couldn’t afford to take a nap though since I needed to get some work done. The package warns not to take more than one pill every three to four hours. I did not take anymore of the Vivarin because I didn’t see the point considering that it didn’t appear to do anything for me. I was disappointed in the Vivarin Caffeine Tablets that I had hoped would work.

There was one side affect to the medication though. I did notice that my hands began to shake a bit. I was surprised by this because if my hand were affected enough to shake after having taken the caffeine pills, why hadn’t it worked to keep me awake. I didn’t like this side effect at all and that is another ...

reason that I discontinued taking the Vivarin after the first one.

The pill itself was very easy to take. I washed it down easily with a sip of water. I didn’t like that it didn’t have a coating on it though. It was pill form completely and sometimes I don’t swallow a pill right away and they begin to dissolve in my mouth leaving a horrible taste. I have had that problem most especially with regular aspirin with no coating on it because I find those pills are larger

      and much harder to swallow.

I would not recommend Vivarin for anyone. I was taken aback by the fact that my hands were shaking. That couldn’t have been good for me. I was extremely disappointed in the performance of the pill as well. It just didn’t give me the energy that I had hoped for and therefore, I would never purchase it again for my own use either. We have to be very careful about what we put in our bodies. What may seem harmless could actually hurt us more than we know.
