  • This is a very good movie for teens but I still enjoyed it even though I’m already in my mid-twenties
  • I think adults would find this corny, but girls would love this and even though you’re past 20 I still think you’ll be able to enjoy this, as it features not only boys and shopping, but lots of gumption and friendship too

This movie is called Wild Child, and it features Emma Roberts with a completely different role from what she usually does, it’s not unlike Hotel for Dogs or Nancy Drew, but this movie features her as Poppy, a very rich teenage Malibu queen who’s rebelling because her mom died and her father is focusing on his life privately too without including them, and while rebelling and realizes she goes too far, her father sends her to a prestigious yet isolated boarding school

in England, where she meets friends and frenemies along the way, and in the end, a prince charming of her own. She leads a very spoiled life but when she gets here, the school’s headmistress Mrs. Kingsley, who then is portrayed by the loving, talented Natasha Richardson, has faith in her and wills her to change, as the school holds a very prestigious title and has produced very successful people in the world. In the end Mrs. Kingsley is proud of Poppy,

      • and Poppy has changed her ways, becoming more loving and caring and appreciating little things more than her previous lifestyle, which was all about parties and boys and shopping. This is a very good movie for teens but I still enjoyed it even though I’m already in my mid-twenties. It’s very cute and Emma does a good job of acting nicely and acting posh. The movie features designers brands and it’s nice to can relate to the shopping scenes here, and my
favorite part was in the first scene where she jumped off their house on a cliff to the beach, and I don’t know if she really did that, but it sure was brave and surprising watching the first ten minutes of the movie!

I think adults would find this corny, but girls would love this and even though you’re past 20 I still think you’ll be able to enjoy this, as it features not only boys and shopping, but lots of gumption and friendship too!
