Super Mario Land is a game made for Nintendo gameboy in 1989 starring the famous Mario character. The storyline is about a princess with a yellow dress named daisy being kidnapped by an alien named Tatanga. it is up to you as Mario to save her. You travel through 4 worlds with three levels within each world.

Out of the two levels in each world,in the third level you have to fight a boss. This boss could be a sphinx like character, and a rock creature. Once you beat all 4 worlds you have to fight Tatanga up

in the air while flying a ship.

You have to shoot a number of torpedoes at him before killing him

I adore this game. The graphics are bland and black and white but satisfactory for its time period. The original game boy was black and white and technology for portable gaming was not as advanced as it is now.

Gampelay is similar to the game Super Mario Bros. A big element of the game is jumping on enemies to kill them. You also the have the ability to to get a mushroom which makes you large and allows you ...

I Think this makes the game a great Super Mario Bros type game since I loved the game play of super Mario bros. It is also a little different than Super Mario Bros. The jumping physics feel kinda differently.

You cannot stay in the air for as long. Also instead of throwing fireballs ,you can throw projectiles called super balls. These super balls can get coins for you from afar and tend to bounce off things in the environment.

I found using super balls very fun. Having them in the game was

a great idea. I also liked the music in the game.

Music tended to be bright, and cheerful. There was also some dark, ominous music for dungeon like levels. The game in general was a lot of fun to play through.

I specifically like playing the sky level. You were in a plane shooting down enemies in a side scrolling manner. The game wasn’t too hard but also wasn’t a piece of cake.

Levels got progressively harder to beat as you played through. There also was not a save feature which provided further challenge. However,I liked that the game had a good challenge element to it.
