  • The only thing we were not too happy about was that you can not get a four door Silverado with an extended bed pick up feature

My husband has a 2000 Chevy Silverado Pick-up truck and we are toying with the idea of replacing it for a newer model. We still want to have a pick-up truck for the hauling we do and the convenience of being able to move furniture or luggage when we need to. We spent a great deal of time looking at Dodge Trucks and Ford Trucks but were hesitant to purchase one because our 2000 Chevy Silverado has been so good to us.

      We have had no

major problematic issues with it, it has the large bed in the back, which we have used countless times for hauling, moving, pushing, and pulling objects, and the car has just litereally been absolutely perfect. Aside from its dents and dings which we have caused becuase we use it so much, its in perfect condition.

We headed over to our local Chevy Dealership and had to take a peek at the new 2007 Chevy Silverados. They’re rather nice to say the least.

They offer a wide array of colors and options on each truck, and like with our 2000 model, the trucks are uniquely designed to sustain just about any kind of circumstances known to man. The only thing we were not too happy about was that you can not get a four door Silverado with an extended bed pick up feature.

You must either get a two seater pickup with an extended bed, or you can get a four seater option with a shorter bed. For us, that is a ...

      difficult choice.

Ideally, we would like to be able to have a pickup truck that we can use for hauling but that we could also fit our family into when needed. Aside from that, the 2007 models are georgous.

We looked at a hunter green model that sparkled from top to bottom and while they were asking between $25-$32,000 for the truck, it certainly had ever feature known to man including GPS and satellite radio features, automatic windows, and of course, an alarm system. I’d

have to say for all intensive purposes I’d give this truck a ten.

It handles just beautifully, it was easy to drive even for me, who is a shorter female, you have a clear view of the road and what is around you, and it really hugs the road on turns. If there was one thing they could improve on though, it would be to create one of these bad boys with the double seating and the extended bed! That way, we could be first in line to buy one!
