The movie Jaws 2 takes off where the original Jaws movie ended. Once again, the city of Amity is under attack by a deadly great white shark. The mayor of Amity, Larry Vaughn is trying to interest a land developer into investing in the town and beach.

Police chief Martin Brody throws a monkey wrench into these plans when he insists that a second deadly shark is cruising the area. The mayor does not want to believe, but after several people fall

victim to the shark, Brody becomes convinced.

The mayor, however, believes there is another explanation and is eager to hide any possibility of a shark attack from the man he hopes will invest in the town. Brody finds himself trying to convince the public that there is a deadly danger at the beach.

After a false alarm, in which he frightens hundreds of swimmers out of the water when he wildly fires his gun at a school of harmless fish, Brody finds himself ...

      • the laughing stock of the town. The mayor tries to get him to resign.

But, of course, the shark is real, and soon Brody is the only one who can save the town.

Although I didn’t expect much of a sequel to Jaws, the movie was pretty good.

It was suspenseful, and while it was pretty hard to believe that there could be yet another shark in this town, the movie did pretty well with credibility. It was a bit of a stretch believing

in the sequel, but overall it turned out to be decent movie.

There were some good action scenes that were very suspenseful. The special effects were not very good, but the movie was made in 1978 before computer-generated animation was available.

The model of the shark was clunky and not very realistic, but again back in the 70s special effects were not as far advanced as they are now. Overall, it was a decent movie but not the scariest movie I have ever seen.

I loved this movie Jaws 2 and I believe that it was even more scary than the first movie. But all the Jaws movies were great and maybe it’s time for me to watch it again and get a good scare.
