Casa Nicarosa Hotel is located in Malate. It is a three-star hotel near the airport. I reserved a room in this hotel for four days from January 15 to 19, 2010 for Php1,000 a night.

The hotel was truly marvelous. Actually, it was good in nearly every aspect. Getting here from the airport was not good as it made us half an hour, with the traffic at night. It was near the airport which made it convenient, but because of the traffic, well it was bad luck.

The building was not that tall but was

easy to spot. The building was modern in design and had that impression that inside was clean and neat. I was greeted by the staff who were at the desk, and the lobby was simple with lights and sofas for those who were reading newspapers or using the internet, or waiting.

The place was a little distant from the bars, clubs and other nightlife spots which would normally surround other hotels I booked in Makati, and in fact, the room I booked was a little calm so I well took a take a breather. The room ...

      • was complete, decent and fantastic. The sheets, curtains and pillows looked expensive. The couch and desk were general enough to place my things. The bathroom was very fine, tidy and looked new. It was sanitized and I could still smell the antiseptic. The toilet mirror was also good enough unlike other hotels where the bathroom mirror was oftentimes disregarded. The internet was available and fast, even though the room was on the third floor. The breakfast was delightful, it was made of eggs, rice and some hotdog, and it was the same ach day. The restaurants
        - Thai and Italian - were reputable, too, but quite expensive.

They also had different facilities like a gym, which was large and well-equipped, and a spa. The hotel was surrounded by banks and food chains, like fast food joints and restaurants, and there was also a promenade near, although it was not within walking distance. The hotel seemed modern on the outside, and also on the inside. The wifi was very high-speed and covered the entire building. All in all, I gained my money’s worth and would stop here over again because of the overall service here.
