  • Although I have never used a serum specifically for the neck and chest before, so I cannot compare it really, I think this is a really good product and I am enjoying using it
  • At 41, my neck is luckily not wrinkled at all but I have noticed a couple of wrinkles down my cleavage
  • But as I like the silky feel of my neck after using the serum, I sometimes just apply the body lotion to my body and leave my neck silky
  • This Morrisons one is a cheap way to start doing that, so I would recommend this product

Although I have never used a serum specifically for the neck and chest before, so I cannot compare it really, I think this is a really good product and I am enjoying using it. It was a very negligible price and I just picked it up along with my groceries at Morrisons as it caught my eye. I cannot remember the price but was pretty cheap for a moisturizing product anyway. It is from Morrisons own brand and it has very basic packaging to it that suggests it is a supermarket own-brand product, but it is pleasant to use and it literally leaves my skin feeling like silk. It is really silky to the touch. I admit that when I apply my anti-ageing creams to my face, although I do extend them down my neck partially, I tend to plonk on a usual body lotion to the rest

of my neck and chest, but I think that is an area that could do with a little extra help as our necks and décolleté (a posh way of saying ‘chest’) do have more delicate skin than the rest of our body and they are areas that are prone to wrinkles. At 41, my neck is luckily not wrinkled at all but I have noticed a couple of wrinkles down my cleavage. My cleavage was not that impressive to begin with, but I could do with not getting any more wrinkles down there! I am happy with this very cheap product and I think it has been of benefit to my skin, encouraging me to give a little more attention to these delicate areas that we often overlook.

The product has the consistency you would expect of a serum – like a cross between a cream and a gel – and ...

      • it is runnier than the average body lotion. It has a pleasant enough perfume that kind of smells ‘clean’ to me and is not overpowering at all. We are instructed to smooth it over our neck and chest until fully absorbed, which is almost immediately as it sinks in really quickly without leaving a trace of greasiness. I need a good blob of it to cover all my neck and chest precisely because it sinks in so quickly, and I put an extra bit down between my cleavage to prevent any further lines from developing hopefully. The result is the really, really silky feel I described before, so it is clearly hydrating my skin well. I know that with a facial serum you would usually apply it underneath your usual moisturizer – I think that is what we are supposed to do with it anyway – so usually
I apply my body lotion as usual over my chest and partially up my neck and I would as a norm. But as I like the silky feel of my neck after using the serum, I sometimes just apply the body lotion to my body and leave my neck silky.

I think this is a nice little product and it works well considering it is so cheap, allowing me to spend more on all the other beauty products I like to buy. Apart from moisturizing the skin, it also claims to stimulate the production of collagen and helps skin regeneration. I think it is worth paying a bit more attention to the oft-neglected areas of our neck and chest as we are prone to concentrate on getting our faces into shape rather than anywhere else. This Morrisons one is a cheap way to start doing that, so I would recommend this product.
