I just purchased the 2010 Mitsubishi Lancer Ralliart in July of this year. I must tell you that this car is a little beast. When looking at purchasing the car, I was looking in the price range of around $30 000 to $40 000, and looked at many brands. I tested the Audi A3, Audi A4, the Volvo C30 and the Mazda 3 Speed. What I was looking for was:

A stiff ride, stiff wheel, A rigid ride, Precise handling, Fast takeoff, and Nice

      interior

The Ralliart was the only one that fulfilled these criteria for me. The interior is decent, especially with the Recaro sports seat and the GPS, which is, what is included in the model I purchased. However, to me that is the only down side of this car. With a 2.0 L turbo charged engine that gets 237HP, this car is a true beauty. The Ralliart also comes with one of the best transmissions in the business. The twin clutch transmission changes gears extremely fast, and the dual normal and sports mode is awesome. In sports mode the car is little noisier, but when you press the accelerator the car has no lag. It is amazing! In normal mode, the car is well suited for the city because you get little lag, you get extremely good handling and it is a lot quieter than in Sports mode.

For a 2.0 L engine, the gas consumption in the city is a little too much, but to me it ...

was well worth it, especially when I saw the gas consumption on the highway. In the city the car got 12 MPG, but in the city after driving about 100 miles, I got 27.76 MPG, especially when driven on cruise control.

If one is looking for a sporty, automatic transmission car with an All Wheel Drive system, the Ralliart is your car. The sporty suspension gives you an amazing feel and the driving experience is priceless. Keep in mind that the Ralliart’s competitors in

the Subaru Imprenza and others are all using a manual transmission, while the Ralliart gives these cars a run for their money it does so with an automatic transmission. Also the Ralliart can be used in manual mode as well with either the stick, or with the wheel mounted paddle shifters, which along with the sports seats makes you feel like you are truly in a sports car.

      Pros:

Amazing handling Stiff wheel Stiff suspension Aluminum pedals Twin Clutch Transmission with Paddle Shifters Small engine HUGE power All Wheel Drive Good MPG on the highway

      Cons:

Expensive Poor MPG in the city
