  • I wouldn't actually say that I suffer from problems association with dry mouth irritations, but I'm a smoker and definitely have that icky morning mouth that feels like I've been chewing on stinky cotton all night long, and sometimes it's so bad that even downing a glass of water or something like that doesn't really help
  • It's a little irritating for me because it's a particular problem that I really hate more than anything else, and that's even including my allergies which hit me severely this time of year to
  • It seemed to really work up the spit glands a bit when chewing it, and I was constantly swallowing while chewing a piece of gum, but I noticed that if I chewed on a piece for a while before going to bed, that it made a HUGE difference in how the dry mouth conditions were in the morning
  • I think it works really well, and I'll keep buying it as long as I can afford to keep buying it because I know it works

I wouldn’t actually say that I suffer from problems association with dry mouth irritations, but I’m a smoker and definitely have that icky morning mouth that feels like I’ve been chewing on stinky cotton all night long, and sometimes it’s so bad that even downing a glass of water or something like that doesn’t really help. It’s a little irritating for me because it’s a particular problem that I really hate more than anything else, and that’s even including my allergies which hit me severely this time of year to. So when I saw the Biotene Dry Mouth Gum I figured it couldn’t be that bad and might be worth the money, plus I’ve been

trying to get away from smoking and gum chewing has been working quite well as far as that goes.

There are active natural enzymes in this product which, when used daily, are supposed to be effective in protecting your teeth and keeping your mouth free of bacteria that causes odor and things like that. I wasn’t exactly expecting it to taste very good, because things like this usually don’t, but I have to say that it wasn’t all that bad. It certainly isn’t like popping a piece of Juicy Fruit into your mouth, but it wasn’t grainy or bizarre tasting like some strange gums are, especially those quit-smoking gums.

It seemed to really work up

the spit glands a bit when chewing it, and I was constantly swallowing while chewing a piece of gum, but I noticed that if I chewed on a piece for a while before going to bed, that it made a HUGE difference in how the dry mouth conditions were in the morning. My mouth didn’t feel like it had cotton shoved in it all night long and it also didn’t stink! No morning breath wasn’t something that I was actually expecting, but I can tell you that it was probably the main reason I would buy this gum again in the future.

I would wake up in the morning and there would be no bad ...

breath, and there would be no dry mouth, and it even seemed like my teeth stayed clean better than using a mouth wash even. The only problem is that it loses what flavor there is after a very short time of chewing, and I always feel like popping another piece in my mouth every twenty or thirty minutes or so, because the mint flavor has disappeared, but even if I go hours in between chewing on a piece, it still seems to be doing the job I originally bought it for, even long after I’ve spit it out.

It’s pretty expensive, though, and a pack doesn’t last me but three days or so, and so

I’ve had to really regulate when and how often I use it to make a pack last longer for me since it’s pretty much the size of a typical pack of gum. I use it once in the middle of the day and once at night about an hour before bed, after I’ve already brushed my teeth, and that seems to still be enough to keep my mouth as fresh as possible, despite the fact I’m still smoking a few cigarettes a day, and I know that’s not helping the breath problem. I think it works really well, and I’ll keep buying it as long as I can afford to keep buying it because I know it works.
