  • I was in heaven, literally, but my pocketbook probably wouldn't agree
  • It's the Shark Ninja Master Prep Chopper, and it was less than $20 when I bought it so it wasn't something that was going to break the bank, and just seemed like it would make preparations in the kitchen so much easier because I don't really like to cook, but when I do I want it to be as easy as possible
  • It comes with a little book with all kinds of recipes like most of these little kitchen accessories do, and I've made some excellent things that me and my kids have really enjoyed over the last year since I got it
  • It's really safe and easy for kids to use too, which is great because I like to raise my kids to be as independent as possible and they are getting old enough now that they can really stand to start making a few things for themselves instead of waiting around and relying on me to do it
  • I was surprised that chopping tomatoes with it was so easy because I love making a nice bruchetta in the morning for breakfast that calls for finely diced tomatoes, and I can mix the other ingredients with it right in the mixer and not have to worry about dirtying up a variety of dishes in the process of preparing my meal

I watch infomercials like it’s going out of style and it was like a gift from the gods when they opened up an As Seen on TV store in one of the malls near me. I was in heaven, literally, but my pocketbook probably wouldn’t agree. I don’t even do a lot of cooking, but I’m a sucker for kitchen accessories and this one really caught my eye the first time I saw it, and no I didn’t see an infomercial on it, I just saw it in the store. It’s the Shark Ninja Master Prep Chopper, and it was less than $20 when I bought it so it wasn’t something that was going to break the bank, and just seemed like it would make preparations in the kitchen so much easier because I don’t really like to cook, but when I do I want it to be as easy as

      possible.

You can pretty much do everything with this little chopper. Far more than I really thought when I originally bought it. You can crush ice with it and make all kinds of different drinks like smoothies and milkshakes. It comes with a little book with all kinds of recipes like most of these little kitchen accessories do, and I’ve made some excellent things that me and my kids have really enjoyed over the last year since I got it. And even a year later, it’s still working. I had a moment when I first bought it, about a month into using it, that it didn’t turn on when I wanted it to. I just took it apart and cleaned it real well and didn’t have any problems with it after that.

It’s really safe and easy for kids to use too, which is great because I like to raise my ...

      • kids to be as independent as possible and they are getting old enough now that they can really stand to start making a few things for themselves instead of waiting around and relying on me to do it. They’ve made their own milkshakes and love them. And it’s a one-touch pulsing button for most everything you can use it for.

The container itself has a nice pour spout so there’s very little risk of making any messes and no spills at all. It’s easy to clean because all the parts are dishwasher safe and you can throw everything in your dishwasher, though after that issue with the motor not working that one time, I let it soak with soapy water in it before I even put it in the dishwasher and I think that has really helped with the longevity of the product.

I can chop vegetables in it as well,

onions and tomatoes even, and it doesn’t turn it into a gloppy mess in the process either. I found more uses for it when making drinks and smoothies and things like that, but it still works really well to dice and chop because there are different pulse actions you can chose depending on what you are preparing. I was surprised that chopping tomatoes with it was so easy because I love making a nice bruchetta in the morning for breakfast that calls for finely diced tomatoes, and I can mix the other ingredients with it right in the mixer and not have to worry about dirtying up a variety of dishes in the process of preparing my meal. It’s really been worth the money and even though I buy a lot of these kinds of products, this is one that I’ve used almost every day, but at least a few times a week.
