  • Death Note Episode 28 begins with the members of the Japanese Taskforce trying to figure out what to do about Sayu’s kidnapping and how to get her back because they want the Death Note in exchange for Sayu’s release The plot twists keep coming and the story is still interesting, even though it’s lost a great character in L, Near and Mello are interesting and it’s nice to see that they have some character development too
  • IF you’re a new fan of anime, I recommend Death Note because of the clever plot twists and entertaining storyline
  • The English dub is also very good and I enjoy watching it, the Japanese dub with English subtitles is no slouch either and no matter what your language preferences is, you’ll enjoy Death Note either way

The story is still very good and the anime is fun to watch. The animation looks nice and the voice actors are very good. The music also fits the scenes very well and everything is presented very well in the anime.

However, if you’re looking for deep characters or storyline, this isn’t it, but don’t brush it off because it lacks those things, because all the mind games make up for it, but it’s still an anime that you should see at

least once because it’s very entertaining. It’s not perfect, but it’s a lot of fun. I still like Death Note, but not as much as I did when I watched the earlier episodes. It’s not as fun as before.

Death Note aired on Adult Swim a few years ago and got through its final run recently and is available streaming on Hulu and on DVD from Viz Media at RightStuf.com, Amazon.com and BestBuy.com.
