  • The problem with Avenger is that it tries to be interesting, but it just can’t hold my attention at all
  • The animation is uninteresting and dull, and the fight scenes are mostly speedlines and cheap gimmicks that make this anime look really cheap and it’s very boring to watch
  • I wouldn’t recommend this anime to anyone
  • It’s one of those, “borrow it from the library but don’t buy it” titles that has unfortunately, been put on a bargain bin shelf

Avenger Episode 3 begins with bounty hunters coming after Layla on orders from Lord Volk. Nei and Speedy are caught in the middle and have to escape being captured.

I didn’t really like this episode a lot at all. The problem with Avenger is that it tries to be interesting, but it just can’t hold my attention at all. I was really hoping this would be one of those

animes that gets better as it goes; unfortunately, Avenger is just as dull and boring as it was when it started and it just doesn’t grab me. • sci-fie fans because it’s not that interesting and anime fans might find this to be a very boring anime. It’s one of those, “borrow it from the library but don’t buy it” titles that has unfortunately, been put on a bargain bin shelf. I had hoped that I was getting a decent story when I bought this anime for $7.95 but instead, I get a flat, boring, uninteresting, unentertaining
        mess that I wish I hadn’t bought.

I do not recommend Avenger to anime fans, because it’s not very good, and you shouldn’t buy this one if you can help it because it’s not a very good anime and you’ll save yourself a lot of wasted time if you leave Avenger on the shelf in the store.

Avenger is available on DVD from Bandai Entertainment and you can buy it at RightStuf.com or Amazon.com.
