Being a swimmer this is a very inspiring book, not only for swimmers but all athletes. Michael wrote this book himself. Its basically an autobiography about his life from when he was a youngin until now. What i love about this book is as he tells his story he also gives advice. Like when he talks about his childhood he states what he would of done different, the mistakes he’s made, etc. It makes you realize that no ones perfect and everyone makes mistakes. Ive learned a ton

from this book not only from a swimming standpoint but just from a life standpoint. I learned to just dedicate yourself everyday to whatever your doing and if you work had it pays off, theres nothing more to it.

So this book talks about where Michael grew up. Basically every little detail about his childhood, from his first grade teacher telling him he was usless to him meeting his life long coach Bob Bowman. The way Michael writes you feel like your there overseeing his journey. This book ends at ...

      • the bejiing olympics where he won his eight more medals. In between it singles out a few of his up and down moments. For any swimmer this is an interesting story, since Michael is hands down a swimming legend. Its fun to read and see how he got to where hes at now.

I would definently recommend this book to any swimmer or athelete looking for an inspiring story to lift them up. I actually got this book signed by Michael himself so it means alot to me. Not only

is he a famous swimmer but he wrote the book himself so the autograph has double meaning. I found this book at Target and ive seen it at pretty much any book store. It costs around 10 dollars which isnt bad. The book is about 200 pages and also comes with pictures! They have really adorable pictures. Even some from when he was a baby, childhood, him in his teens and then pictures from now. Its really cool flipping the pages and seeing a timeline of his life in all pictures.
