Morrisons 2 Chocolate Muffin Cheesecake Wedges
  • The only thing is, the one thing that makes this chocolate cheesecake different is the odd blob of muffin-type sponge in the cake which I think does not add anything to it at all
  • I love chocolate muffins and I love the cheesecake, but together it was not so special
  • The muffin bits are soft and nice but as I say, it does not particularly go well with the rest of the cheesecake in my opinion, even though I normally like muffins
  • But I still enjoyed this immensely, but maybe next I will buy the kind without the muffin bits
  • I would recommend this cheesecake as it is lovely

I have got a thing for chocolate cheesecakes and having just devoured one of these chocolate muffin cheesecake wedges from Morrisons own brand, I am just in heaven. I had not tried this one before but it is absolutely gorgeous. The only thing is, the one thing that makes this chocolate cheesecake different is the odd blob of muffin-type sponge in the cake which I think does not add anything to it at all. I love

chocolate muffins and I love the cheesecake, but together it was not so special. But that said, this is a gorgeous cheesecake. I buy this kind of cheesecake for myself when I want an extra-special treat for my dessert and this one is very luxurious and indulgent indeed.

I particularly like the digestive biscuit base which is chocolate-flavoured and tastes gorgeous. It has a thick layer of chocolate cheesecake on top of that and then a vanilla ...

      • layer of cheesecake. On the top it has tasty little milk chocolate ball decorations, along with the odd small lump of chocolate muffin. This is a lovely cheesecake that is a total taste sensation. The muffin bits are soft and nice but as I say, it does not particularly go well with the rest of the cheesecake in my opinion, even though I normally like muffins. But I still enjoyed this immensely, but maybe next
I will buy the kind without the muffin bits.

You get two wedge slices in each packet which costs £2, which is fairly reasonable considering you are getting a really rich, filling and luxurious dessert like this. Each wedge contains 398 calories which is high but is to be expected with something like this. I would buy a cheesecake like this once a week probably, as a treat. I would recommend this cheesecake as it is lovely.
