  • I prefer to use a depilatory cream to remove unwanted body hair, but I always keep some razors in the bathroom as I run out of the cream quite often
  • I cannot remember the exact price of these Bic Twin Lady Sensitive razors but I paid less than £2 for a packet of 8 anyway
  • I just do not see any advantage to paying the extra for these Bic Twin Lady ones, so I would not recommend them and recommend instead you check out the bargain basement razors (in Wilkinsons for example) at a much cheaper price
  • The only thing I like about these razors is how they look as they are quite slim, with a small head, which makes them look feminine
  • As there is no mesh-guard on these razors – they are of course a pretty basic product – I found that after shaving, I had managed to get a few tiny cuts on my legs, even though I shaved them carefully

I prefer to use a depilatory cream to remove unwanted body hair, but I always keep some razors in the bathroom as I run out of the cream quite often. I cannot remember the exact price of these Bic Twin Lady Sensitive razors but I paid less than £2 for a packet of 8 anyway. To be honest, I did not find these razors any better than the mega-cheap ones I have bought before for about 20p for a packet. I just do not see any advantage to paying the extra for these Bic Twin Lady ones, so I would not recommend them and recommend instead you check out the bargain basement razors

(in Wilkinsons for example) at a much cheaper price.

The only thing I like about these razors is how they look as they are quite slim, with a small head, which makes them look feminine. They are also coloured transparent purple or green so they look prettier than the economy razors. Each razor head has a plastic guard on it, as razors usually do, that is quite difficult to remove by accident so the razors are safe to leave in the bathroom with children around for example.

I am guilty of frequently using razors without any shaving cream, which tends to be drying on the legs. As a result of doing this, my legs might well be hair-free but they will be very dry and flaky and I have to put plenty of moisturizing lotion on my skin. This is a bad habit I know as the shaving cream not only softens the skin as you are shaving but it allows the razor to glide easily over the skin. The thing is that after I had shaved my legs with these Bic razors, my skin was not only dry and flaky but really very itchy, even after I had applied body lotion. My skin does not usually get that irritated and itchy after shaving with disposable razors. These razors are actually intended for sensitive skin but ironically,

I found them somehow more irritating that most razors. I sat on the sofa the other night scratching away at my ankles.

The head had two blades, as the name suggests, but I did not find that they removed hair any closer than any other razors. The blades are very sharp and immediately after shaving my legs felt smooth and hair-free, but the next day – not even 24 hours later - I could feel the stubble growing back and they needed shaving once more. As there is no mesh-guard on these razors – they are of course a pretty basic product – I found that after shaving, I had managed to get a

few tiny cuts on my legs, even though I shaved them carefully. The blade head does not move and, as the blades are so sharp, you really need to be careful when using this sharp razor on your shinbone or over bumpy areas or you will cut yourself. Although the blades are sharp, they only stayed sharp to allow me shave both legs and my underarms before they became too blunt, which is not very good.

So, apart from these razors being feminine and petite in appearance, I found these no better – and maybe even a little bit more irritating – than the real economy 20p ones, so I cannot really recommend that you buy these.

I had the same problem with these razors too. I ended up having razor burn really, really bad. The solution to this issue was that I used Aloe Vera gel to soothe the burning and sensitive shaving cream with aloe.
