  • So I used it on the bottom of my eye line at first, and it came out really horrible, I was quite disappointed, especially considering since this was my 1st attempt
  • Because I seriously looked like I was in the making of becoming one of those ganguro girls, sorry to anyone who likes that type of style, but I found it looking quite scary on me

At first when I got this product, I didn’t even know the purpose of it, I just received it as a gift from a party. I saw that it was by the company Benefit, but sadly I never heard of that brand, or company name. It looked to be eyeliner, but it was a bright white pink color. I was kind of skeptic about it, because it looked like a product for ganguro girls or something, I just couldn’t quite put my finger on it. I’m a tan skin color, and pale in the Winter, so I had a feeling that it was

going to look ridiculous on me. But then I figured it was supposed to be used for making the eyes appear larger, and brighter, since it said the words eye bright on the front of it. So after going back and forth with what the purpose of it was, I finally decided to stop wasting time. I figured it was a good gift, until I actually tested it out on my eyes. It was a small fat pencil, that had a nice sharp point at the end. It wasn’t that rounded, which I was sort of afraid of, I was afraid that I was going to poke my eye out or something!

So I used it on the bottom of my eye line at first, and it came out really horrible, I was quite disappointed, especially considering since this was my 1st attempt. It came out to be really gritty and chalky like, it did not go on my on the line well at all! It was also very drying on my eyes, kind of the feeling you get when you buy a fresh pencil of eyeliner. I mean I’m not expecting this thing to go on wet or anything, but it would have been ...

so much better if it could go on in like a creamy substance! Another thing, it’s very white/pink, I just didn’t understand it. I kept asking myself is this product supposed to be used alone? Or in conjunction with another product? Because I seriously looked like I was in the making of becoming one of those ganguro girls, sorry to anyone who likes that type of style, but I found it looking quite scary on me! Too much pink, even though it is my favorite color of all type, please, not as an eyeliner! So I gave up on the eyeliner, I then
said hm, maybe it’ll work as an eyeshadow primer? A brow highlighter? Cheekbone highlighter maybe? Uh no, no, and no. This product didn’t work well for any of those purposes! I then looked up the product, and found out it’s meant for perking up the eyes to make them look bright? Sorry I don’t think so, more like scary!

This product is priced at Sephora for $20.00, it has high ratings on there but for me, I give it an honest low rating. I feel like this pencil has no purpose, it’s just a fat pink pencil that chalks up everywhere. Just being honest! Bad buy.
