  • One of the reasons I was drawn to Fruity Cheerios is because they're naturally, not artificially, flavored, and as any shopper that regularly ventures down the cereal aisle at a grocery store knows, it's not easy finding a cereal that's naturally and not artificially, or partially artificially, flavored, unfortunately

General Mills Fruity Cheerios is one of General Mills more recent Cheerios creations. It seems they just keep coming up with new kinds of Cheerios! Fruity Cheerios didn’t sit well with me though. I personally thought that the Fruity Cheerios were much too sweet. I couldn’t eat too many right out of the box, which I figure probably would’ve filled a small cereal bowl, simply because they were starting to upset my stomach. I didn’t

expect the Fruity Cheerios to be as sweet as they turned out to be.

One of the reasons I was drawn to Fruity Cheerios is because they’re naturally, not artificially, flavored, and as any shopper that regularly ventures down the cereal aisle at a grocery store knows, it’s not easy finding a cereal that’s naturally and not artificially, or partially artificially, flavored, unfortunately. Indeed, the natural fruit flavors do shine through when eating this cereal.

      • I can taste grape, banana and apple among some other flavors. In a way, the cereal kind of reminds me of Kellogg’s Fruit Loops. The sugary sweetness, as mentioned earlier, is a bit disappointing and sometimes doesn’t set well in my stomach, especially in the morning. Nutritionally though, this cereal does offer whole grains in addition to vitamins like vitamin C and vitamin D, as well as some other nutrients, so it’s a cereal that’s
likely to do more good than harm to one’s body and health.

For three dollars, this cereal is closer to be expensive than in-expensive. It’s a quality cereal, both when it comes to taste and nutritional, although the sweetness bothers me. I’ll still buy these Fruity Cheerios when they’re on sale or I have a good coupon, but I won’t pay full price for them. I feel that General Mills Fruity Cheerios are deserving of a “7″ rating.
