  • While the vanilla scent isn't quite as noticeable as the aroma given off by the apple cinnamon jar candle also made by Renwick, I think it's scent that's strong enough to overcome a room that's occupied by stale air as a result of windows not being opened for a long while, such as during the winter or summer periods, and also, if you've just used carpet or hard wood floor cleaner, the candle will cover up the smell of the cleaning powder or solution, given a little time
  • When a candle puts off an overpowering aroma, that can make being in the same room as it a bit unpleasant and distracting after a while, but that's not a problem I associate with this jar candle

The Renwick Scented French Vanilla Jar Candle delivers a mild vanilla bean aroma to a room, when lit. While the vanilla scent isn’t quite as noticeable as the aroma given off by the apple cinnamon jar candle also made by Renwick, I think it’s scent that’s strong enough to overcome a room that’s occupied by stale air as a result of windows not being opened for a long while, such as during the winter or summer periods, and also, if you’ve just

used carpet or hard wood floor cleaner, the candle will cover up the smell of the cleaning powder or solution, given a little time.

It’s a pleasant scent, and the French Vanilla aroma is a relaxing one, somewhat different from the more rich and attention-grabbing apple cinnamon jar candle.

This scent just sort of lingers in the background, and that’s okay with me.

The jar candle burns slowly and there’s quite a lot of candle in the jar.

The weight is four ounces, so depending how long and often the candle is used, how long it lasts will vary.

I can generally get by on just one or two a year, but that’s in part because I use other scented candles too and I generally only light a

scented candle when company is coming over or it’s a special occasion, or just when I feel the room could really use a touch of pleasant scent.

For a dollar fifty, the price is quite right for this quality scented candle.

French Vanilla may not be the a real prominently powerful scent, but it still puts off a somewhat sweet smelling and soothing as well as soft scent that I find welcoming.

I feel this jar candle is deserving of a “10″ rating.
