  • I like how the store has 5 floors, so you won't have just one room and find everything there
  • But there are books which you can open and read, and I think it is good that they are free to read because that gives potential readers to see if the book is worth their money or not, before purchasing it

National Bookstore is a well-known bookstore that has a branch in Recto, Manila. It is a super branch because it has over 3 floors, unlike the other branches in malls with only one floor and very limited space.

It is a great bookstore that carries a wide range of products like books and office supplies. Most likely, products you will need are already here. I like how the store has 5 floors, so you won’t have just one room and find everything there. It clearly shows that the products they carry are really in great in number because they are divided into floors, so on the first floor you will find

school supplies like various kinds of papers, pencils, pens, sharpeners, pencil holders, cartolinas, cardboards, folders and various many other things which you will need in school. You only need to search for them because they are neatly arranged by shelves. There are also office supplies there like desks and chairs, boards, file holders and others. The second floor is where you will find fiction books of various genres and are arranged in shelves as well, So there are shelves for romance, thriller, sci fi, drama, action books and other types of genres. You will find books written by local authors and foreign authors.

The books here are not all new. Some of ...

      • them are actually written from 5 or so years ago, but they are all carefully packaged inside plastics to protect them from potential moists and gradual browning. But there are books which you can open and read, and I think it is good that they are free to read because that gives potential readers to see if the book is worth their money or not, before purchasing it.

There are just too many books which are here, really. I don’t even need to mention them because there are hundreds, if not thousands of them. A lot of them are best-sellers internationally, like the Twilight Saga by Stephenie Meyer, books by known

authors like Sidney Sheldon, Stephen King and others, although a lot of them are not well-known.

There are also non-fiction books on the last floor. There, you can find shelves and shelves of self-help, astrology, health, psychology, cooking, hobby, art, religion, medicine, financial and career books which might be of help to some, and like the fiction books, some of them are free to read.

This is a great branch because the products here are more than the standard branches with only one floor. You will find them at low prices around 100 pesos or more, the whole place is very clean and the products are neatly arranged in shelves.
