Tresemme is a high quality, professional hair styling products range that I often see on offer in supermarkets and the like, so it is not particularly expensive. I tried their Salon Finish Extra Hold hairspray for the first time and I am really happy with it because not only does it give great hold to my style, but my hair still feels amazingly soft as though I am not wearing hairspray. I also love the smell of it. I have never been a big user of hairspray precisely for the reason that I would prefer my hair to stay soft and silky rather than feel all hard and sticky from hairspray overload, so I would rather my hair look messy than feel bad. This hairspray does not give

      me that problem.

I spray this fairly liberally because I just love the scent and it makes my hair smell really nice. I have noticed that the styling products my hairdresser uses always leave my hair smelling great and this spray has a quality, professional scent to it. It is not an overpowering hairspray smell but is like you would expect a very expensive hairspray to smell and it has a freshness to it that I really like. The spray gives off a fine mist that covers a large surface area and I spray this all over my head but concentrate on my fringe which has a tendency to really stick up in a big, silly curl.

The first time I used this a few days ago, I had just given ...

      • myself an intense hair conditioning treatment and my hair was feeling really soft and silky and was looking good. I was pleased that when I sprayed it with Tresemme, the spray did not affect that shine at all. My hair looked just as shiny and to my surprise, it also felt just as silky and soft. It had expected it to feel somewhat hard and sticky like most hairsprays so I was really impressed. As my hair was so well-conditioned, I styled it nicely, with my fringe firmly stuck down, sprayed Tresemme liberally before I went out and it looked exactly the same when I returned. I have been out in a strong wind and, with a shake of my head, I find my style has been
maintained quite well. The canister says that it will help control the affects of humidity on your hair as well and as my hair would usually go really curly and frizzy in humid weather, I can say that it has held up pretty well these last few humid days in England.

The packaging is black and sleek and has a professional salon look to it, so it is very appealing to me, albeit quite plain. I tried this hairspray out by buying a small 100ml canister for about £1.65 as it was on offer in Boots, but there is a large 500ml can available. This works brilliantly so I think it is worth the money, especially as it leaves my hair so soft too. I love that very addictive scent as well!
