I am not a fan of eyelash curlers. I am a self-confessed lady who uses mascara but never curls her lashes before doing so. For professional make-up artists, I know they would consider this a no-no. But I have been doing this for years now and I don’t see anything unusual about it. For me, for as long as my eyes pop out and gives me an alluring appearance, nothing is wrong. This all changed when my sister, during one of her trips abroad, brought me a Shu Uemura Eyelash

      curler.

I fell in love at first sight. It was inside a sleek white box wrapped in clear plastic. The instruction paper was in Japanese so I really didn’t mind it. I do not speak Japanese and definitely I don’t need a piece of paper to know how to use an eyelash curler. Even if I don’t use an eyelash curler I know how to use it by heart. Curling was easy. All I needed to do was hold the curler, enclose it between my eyelashes and with a gentle grip,

      • voila, long curled lashes without the mascara. I tried using it with my long-lasting black mascara and got the look I have always wanted to achieve: alluring eyes minus the gooey eye make-up. I began using the Shu Uemura eyelash curler after I got the wonderful result. My officemates and friends have been asking where I got my eyelash extensions. Then when my sister asked where I went to have my eyelashes done, she was shocked when I told her that I was only using the eyelash curler she gave
me and my trusted black mascara. The curler is very durable. I bring it anywhere. The rubber material makes the curl last. I think the friction does wonders because I don’t need to curl it again during the rest of the day.

No wonder make-up professionals recommend this for eyelashes. It really does wonders. If you are not a fan of going to the salon for eyelash extensions, this is the next big thing. The Shu Uemura eyelash curler is a staple inside my small tote of beauty arsenal. Try it to believe it.
